Black broom (Cytisus scopanus)

It is used to make brooms and as construction material in huts, bootees,… another common use is that of the bushes used in slaughtering.

We cannot give so much utility to the white broom, in construction and as a broom it falls apart in a short time. In the past, they were not even used for bushes because it was said that they would end up aluning the pig’s fat.

This plant is abundant in our locality, however the tilefish is scarce.
